What's on this week... (Term 3, Week 10)
We have come to the last week of term. This week we will be concluding our term topic of Explorers and The First Fleet. We will have the History Box school visit on Wednesday where the children will learn about the first fleet, convict stories and early settlement of Australia. In Maths, we continue to learn about measurement, focusing on Area. We are doing a buddy activity with 1/2L on Monday. We will also be completing descriptive writing and information reports. Children will be tested on their goals and, where relevant, new goals will be set for Term 4. The children have finished 99% of their MOSCARS, so this will be tidied up and we will have a mini OSCARS ceremony in the class. Remember that this Friday is the last day of term, so there will be an early finish (2.30pm). Have a great week!

Online Stories
Hi 3/4F Families,
Here is a great web site to get your child into reading. It is called Story Line Online. A person reads the story for you and then there are activities that you can answer at the end of the book. Here is the link: http://www.storylineonline.net/.
Happy reading!

What's on this week...? (Term 3, Week 8)
We had a great time at Camp Narmbool. Our three days were filled with amazing adventures such as Aboriginal games, environmental monitoring, astronomy (we saw Saturn), bush walking and sustainable activities. We also visited Sovereign Hill. We all had a great time. This week, we will be reflecting on camp through the Narmbool Lodge Wikispace (http://narmbool.wikispaces.com/). We will also write thank you letters to the camp. For the next two week in Maths, we focus on measurement, while in English we begin looking at Information Reports. We will also start making our Moscars movies - the theme is 'change'. Only three weeks left of term! On the home stretch now.
