This week, we have been exploring 3D shapes. Here is a challenge for you to complete at home -
- How many 3D shapes can you find around the house (eg. cereal box is a rectangular prism, coke can is a cylinder etc)?
- How many verticies, edges and faces does each shape have? Explain what these terms mean to your parents.
Post your answers on the 3/4F Blog Spot.
Also, here is a link to a series of shape games that can be played at home: http://www.familylearning.org.uk/shape_games.html.
Happy shape hunting.
