What on this week...? (Term 4, Week 4)

This week, we begin a new focus in English. For the next two weeks we will be examining and writing poetry. The children will learn about figurative language and many different types of poems. In Maths, we continue to look at shape, area, volume and capacity. On Wednesday, the children will have their first transition session into either a grade 3 or grade 4 class, not their class for next year, but just to experience what it will be like next year. We continue our Heating Up unit and we will investigate the conductivity of different materials when heated by hot water. The children will also continue to work on their MOSCARS movies. Please remember that Friday 31st October is a curriculum day and therefore there is no school on this day. Have a great week...
