What on this week...? (Term 4, Week 3)
This week, the students will complete their narrative stories, turning them into books with a front and back cover, blurb, illustrations and, of course, an imaginative story. In maths, we begin a new topic exploring 2D and 3D shapes and the area, volume and capacity that these shapes have. We continue our Heating Up science unit as well as our history topic, exploring change in our community. The students will also complete some more assessments in preparation for end of the year reporting. On Monday, our class has the opportunity to purchase books at Book Fair. So if your child has a book they would like to buy, they can bring their money with them on Monday. Books can also be purchased before and after school until Tuesday. MOSCARS is back for another year, and the students will be making short films focusing on the topic 'Friendship'. To finish off the week, we will re-make our sugar crystals which didn't work as planned the first time! A big week this week. Have a great one!
