Homework - Weeks 6 and 7

This week there will be no spelling or maths homework due to camp. All children will need to read and complete the ‘First Contacts’ activity. This homework is due in on Wednesday 4^th September.

Reading

Focus: Reading 4 times a week (15-20 mins).

Task: Make sure your parents/adult signs your diary.

First Contacts
Focus: The First Fleet.
Task: We have been learning about the ships and people of the First Fleet this week. Your task (over the next two weeks) is to choose one of the ships of the First Fleet and make a poster about the ship. Include its name, details about the ship (length, size etc), who and what it carried, a map of the journey it took from England to Australia and at least one other interesting fact.
