What's on this Week...? (Term 4, Week 6)

We have reached the half way mark of the last term! Wow how time travels fast! On Tuesday this week we celebrate remembrance day. The grade 3-6 classes will be visiting the war memorial in Haliday Park to have one minute silence and remember those that fought in war for our country. We will be taking a close look at remembrance day in literacy. We also begin writing our self evaluations, where we recall all the amazing things we have done this year and what we are looking forward to next year. In Maths, we begin a new topic - Money. We will learn about types of money, both local and overseas, as well as how to add and subtract money in fun ways. We continue our science unit (Heating Up) and we will test our solar ovens on Wednesday. We will also continue to make our MOSCARS movies. They are due on 21st November. Good luck to everyone!
